A Rose Does Not Preach

Had I but a chance to see her singular beauty and the subtle command which lay hold of me, had I but one way to describe her, I could but only say she is a rose. For a rose does not preach her message or meaning, she does not demand you see her point of view. Silently seductive, her intentions are evident within the multitudinous folds of her petals. Peacefully, she obtains her followers. She keeps them, without any threat of what is to come shall they cross her, for she, this rose, is so rich, the thought does not cross her mind.

So too with the rose, who does not yell or force…no, she simply opens up and allows her sweet aroma to enrapture others, irresistibly drawn to her forever enduring perfume and memory. Scent is the phenomenon that instantly conjures the past, the fibers of existence that sway our pendulum of emotions all in the slightest move of an instant.

Flowers are of a unique league for speaking to those moments that keeps with us for all of our livelihood. Like women, their gentility allows them an endearing position in our hearts that is unmistakable.
