The Flower That Made All The Difference

It is fairly common to come across a few certain lines from the famous American poet Robert Frost in the US. We may encounter his words in a great variety of contexts such as  the pages of “favorite quotes” in high school year books or Facebook profiles. It is, this of course: “I took the road less traveled by, and that had made all the difference” from Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken”. Any vague familiarity with Frost will tell of his heavy focus on natural settings. This poet is no stranger to flowers.

Hence we come to the subject of what is it that makes all the difference? If you care to read the poem, you will find that it is truly not just about being different and unconventional with your life choices which shall then result in some new and profound road, but rather there are many layers of meaning within that choice.

Luckily for us, the subject of flowers has a meaning that carries it to heights of pure delight. Upon looking at many beautiful pictures of elegant rooms that you may see in any home or interior magazine, you may notice a trend amongst all the perfectly designated furniture and coordinated colors that transition from one another so effortlessly. That trend is, of course, a vase full of flowers.

Sometimes, it is a vase filled with fat luscious roses in the living room and other times it is some big globe-like hydrangeas in the kitchen, either way, it is impressive and adds an air of magnificence that can only be achieved with flowers. Why deny yourself the pleasure?
