Many would argue that there is nothing “tried and true” about giving your grandmother flowers on Mother's Day, if anything that it should be either of both your parents giving her flowers and not you, and they'd be right; but lest face it, if it where not for your grandmothers, neither your parents would be here nor would you. So why not celebrate her on that day with some floral loving, a small but mindful bloom?

More so if just happens that there is the perfect flower to give a grandmother for Mother's Day when she's been a mother figure for you: Sunflowers. For sunflowers are not only cheerful and uplifting, but with oversized blooms and wide-open faces, they symbolize both adoration and longevity and if you love your grandmother you would feel like that for her for sure.
