Designing you own corsages is a very easy process specially when you have selected the colors and flowers for the rest of your floral arrangements. You don’t need to use the exact same flowers but you can keep with the same pattern of colors. Traditionally mothers and grandmothers are the ones who wear corsages, however there aren’t any set on stone rules about who can wear corsages on a wedding, it could be whoever you want to honor within your family or close friends as well. Corsages can be made to pin on a dress or to tie on your wrist with a ribbon and it can be in different sizes from 3 to 6” wide and from 1 to 5 main flowers, combined with very small filler flowers and/or greens. When you are making your floral selection for your corsages try to use flat flowers so it doesn’t look too bulky for example gerberas, roses and chrysanthemums are very popular for corsages. Corsages are also perfect for proms, homecomings, and even special holidays like Mother’s Day or birthdays.
